What to do when waiting on god

The waiting game

When you feel like you’ve been waiting on God for too long, it’s easy to get discouraged. You may wonder if He is even listening to you. Maybe you feel like you’re doing something wrong. But the waiting game is an important part of our faith journey. Here are a few things to remember when you’re in the waiting room.

The feeling of being stuck

The feeling of being stuck is a common human experience. We can feel stuck in our careers, our relationships, our health, or any number of other areas in our lives. The good news is that even when we feel stuck, there is always something we can do to move forward.

There are a few things to keep in mind when you’re feeling stuck:

  1. It’s okay to feel stuck.
  2. You’re not alone.
  3. You can do something about it.

Here are a few things you can do when you’re feeling stuck:

  1. Talk to someone who can help you see things from a different perspective.
  2. Make a plan of action. What are some small steps you can take to move forward?
  3. Take some time for yourself. Sometimes we need to rest and recharge before we can take action.
    The feeling of being lost
feeling of being lost is a feeling we all have at one point or another in our lives. We feel like we are at a standstill, waiting for something to happen. We don’t know what the next step is, or even if there IS a next step. All we can do is wait.

Waiting can be hard, but it is also an important part of our journey. It is during these times that we learn to trust in God and His plan for our lives. We learn to lean on Him for strength and wisdom. We learn patience and perseverance.

If you are feeling lost and don’t know what to do, here are a few things that might help:

-Pray and ask God to reveal His plan to you.
-Read your Bible and spend time in worship.
-Talk to a trusted friend or counselor who can provide wise guidance.
-Seek out opportunities to serve others and be a light in the darkness.
-Be patient and trust that God has a good plan for your life!

When you’re waiting on God

It can be difficult to wait on God. You may feel like you’ve been waiting forever, and wonder what you’re doing wrong. Maybe you feel like you’re not worthy of His blessings, or like you’re not doing enough. Whatever the case may be, here are a few things to remember when you’re waiting on God.

Trust

When you’re waiting on God, trust is the most important thing you can give Him. You may not understand why He’s making you wait, but you can trust that He knows what He’s doing. Be patient and wait for His perfect timing. Trusting God doesn’t mean that your waiting will be easy. In fact, it might be the hardest thing you ever do. But it will be worth it in the end.

Have faith

When you find yourself waiting on God, it’s important to have faith. Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” In other words, faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

So often, we can get caught up in our circumstances and allow our situation to dictate our level of faith. However, God wants us to have faith in Him regardless of our circumstances. He is faithful even when we are not, and His plans for us are always good.

If you find yourself waiting on God, don’t lose hope. Continue to trust Him and have faith that He will come through for you. His timing is always perfect, and He will never leave you or forsake you.

Be patient

One of the most difficult things to do in life is wait patiently on God. We live in a world that is filled with instant gratification, and we often want things to happen immediately. However, when it comes to our relationship with God, we must learn to be patient and wait on His timing.

There are several things that we can do while we are waiting on God. First, we need to trust that He has a plan for our lives and that He knows what is best for us. Second, we need to continue to seek after Him and grow in our relationship with Him. And third, we need to be faithful in the little things that He has entrusted to us.

If we can learn to be patient and wait on God, we will find that His timing is always perfect. He will bless us in ways that we could never imagine, and we will be able to fulfill the purposes that He has for our lives.

What to do when you’re waiting on God

Pray

Prayer is one of the most important things you can do when you’re waiting on God. It shows that you trust in Him and His timing, and it allows you to stay close to Him. Prayer also gives you the opportunity to express your desires and ask for His help.

Don’t be afraid to be honest with God about how you’re feeling. He already knows what’s in your heart, so tell Him what’s on your mind. Be specific in your prayers, and don’t forget to thank Him for all the good things in your life.

Remember, God always answers our prayers, even if the answer isn’t always what we want it to be. Trust that He has a plan for you, and know that He is always with you.

Read your Bible

One of the best things you can do when you’re waiting on God is to read your Bible. This is because the Bible is full of promises from God. As you read His word, you’ll be reminded that He is faithful and that He will do what He has promised.

Another reason why reading the Bible is helpful when you’re waiting on God is because it will help to change your perspective. When we wait on God, we can often get impatient and start to feel like God isn’t doing anything. However, when we read the Bible we see that there are many examples of people who had to wait on God for a long time before He moved in their situation. This can help us to have patience as we wait on Him.

If you’re not sure where to start, here are a few verses about waiting on the Lord:

-Psalm 27:14 – “Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!”

-Lamentations 3:25 – “The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.”

-Isaiah 40:31 – “But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”

Worship

When we are waiting on God, it is important to continue to worship Him. This helps us to keep our focus on Him and not on our circumstances. Worshipping God also reminds us of His goodness and His faithfulness. It is a way for us to express our love for Him and our thankfulness for all that He has done for us. Additionally, worshiping God can help to strengthen our faith as we wait on Him.

Serve

When you’re waiting on God, it’s important to stay busy and keep your mind occupied. A great way to do this is to serve others. Volunteer at a local soup kitchen or animal shelter, or help out a neighbor with yard work. Not only will you be keeping yourself busy, but you’ll also be making a difference in your community. Win-win!

Witness

What do you do when you’re waiting on God? First, you need to remember that God is always worth waiting for. His timing is perfect, and He knows what He’s doing. Second, you need to be patient and trust that God will come through in His own time. Third, you can use the time you’re waiting to grow in your faith and witness to others about the hope that you have in Christ. Finally, don’t forget to thank God for His goodness and faithfulness, even when you don’t understand what He’s doing.
