the fall of lucifer
Lucifer, also known as Satan, is the fallen angel who rebelled against God and was cast out of heaven. He is often described as a dragon or serpent. In the Bible, he is the tempter of Jesus Christ and the cause of all evil in the world. He is the ruler of hell and the father of lies.
the rise of the antichrist
The Antichrist is a person who will, in the words of the Apostle Paul, oppose and exalt himself “so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God” (2 Thessalonians 2:4). Hewill be a master deceiver (Revelation 13:14) who will perform great signs and wonders (Matthew 24:24) in order to deceive even the elect (if that were possible) (Mark 13:22). He will be a world leader who will be empowered by Satan himself (Revelation 13:2). And he will greatly expand his power and influence during a time of great global turmoil known as the Tribulation (Matthew 24:21).
the reign of the antichrist
The Antichrist is a figure who will rule the earth during the Tribulation, a seven-year period of intense persecution. The Antichrist will be a charismatic leader who will deceive many people into following him. He will be filled with Satan’s power and will oppose everything that is good. The Antichrist will ultimately be defeated by Jesus Christ at the Battle of Armageddon.
the return of christ
There are many different opinions about when Christ will return, but the Bible gives us some clear indications. Christ Himself said that He would return “in the glory of His Father with the holy angels” (Matthew 16:27). He also said that His return would be “like a thief in the night” (1 Thessalonians 5:2; 2 Peter 3:10). And Paul wrote, “The Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first” (1 Thessalonians 4:16).
