What is the problem with postmodernism?
The problem with postmodernism is that it denies absolute truth. In doing so, it opens the door to all kinds of moral and spiritual relativism. This can be seen in the way that postmodernism has affected society in recent years.
Christianity, on the other hand, affirms absolute truth. It teaches that there is a God who has revealed himself to us through scripture and who has given us objective moral standards to live by. Christianity also teaches that we are fallen creatures in need of redemption and that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation.
How does Christianity answer the questions of postmodernism?
In a postmodern world, where so many things are called into question, it can be difficult to know what to believe. Christianity, however, has always been based on a solid foundation of truth. In this message, Ravi Zacharias looks at how Christianity answers the questions of postmodernism and how the gospel is the only hope for a lost and searching world.
What are the implications of Christianity?
Christianity has implications for how we think about God, others, and ourselves. It also affects how we live our lives and make choices.
How can I know Christianity is true?
Christianity is not a blind faith; rather, it is based on historical facts that can be investigated and verified. The best place to start is with the life of Jesus Christ.
The details of His life, death, and resurrection were recorded by eyewitnesses and documented in early manuscripts. These documents have been carefully examined by historians and found to be reliable. In addition, there is archaeological evidence that corroborates the Bible’s account of history.
Christianity also offers persuasive philosophical arguments for its truth claims. For example, the existence of God can be demonstrated through reason and logic. Furthermore, Christianity provides a satisfactory explanation for the big questions of life, such as why we are here and what happens when we die.
When all the evidence is weighed, it becomes clear that Christianity is not a blind faith but rather a well-founded belief system based on historical fact and sound reasoning.
