The Bible is the inspired word of God
The Bible is the inspired word of God. It is His message to us. It contains everything we need to know about Him and His will for our lives. It is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path (Psalm 119:105). It is a treasure trove of wisdom and knowledge (Proverbs 2:6).
The Bible is also living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). In other words, it has the power to change our lives.
We are never alone when we have the Bible. God promised that He would never leave us or forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6; Hebrews 13:5). When we are feeling lost or alone, we can always turn to His word for guidance and comfort.
Bible verses about never leaving or forsaking
The Bible is full of verses that offer hope, encouragement, and comfort. One of these verses is Hebrews 13:5, which says, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” This verse is a promise from God that He will always be with us. He will never leave us alone or abandon us.
Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Joshua 1:5
As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will never leave you nor forsake you.
Hebrews 13:5
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
What does it mean when God says He will never leave or forsake us?
When God says in His word that He will never leave or forsake us, this is a Promises from God that we can hold on to. We can trust that no matter what we are going through in life, God will always be there for us. He will never leave us alone to face our struggles.
God is always with us
When we feel alone, it can be reassuring to know that God is always with us. He promised never to leave or forsake us, and He is faithful to His promises.
This doesn’t mean that we will never experience difficult times or trials, but it does mean that we can always rely on God’s love and presence in our lives. Knowing that God is with us through everything can help us to face whatever comes our way with hope and confidence.
God will never abandon us
When we sin, weseparate ourselves from God. God is perfect and holy, and He cannot have fellowship with sin. When we repent and confess our sins, however, God forgives us and cleanses us from unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We are again able to have fellowship with Him because His forgiveness has removed the barrier of our sin.
Similarly, when we are going through tough times, we may feel that God has abandoned us. We may feel alone and forsaken, but the truth is that God will never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). He is always with us, even in the darkest hours of our lives.
During these difficult times, we need to remember that God is sovereign and He has a plan for us (Jeremiah 29:11). Even though we may not understand what is happening or why things are happening the way they are, we can trust that God is in control. He will never abandon us, and He will use even the bad things in our lives for His glory and our good (Romans 8:28).
God will never forsake us
When we are feeling alone and forsaken, we can take comfort in the fact that God has promised never to leave or forsake us. This promise is found in Hebrews 13:5, which says, “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
This promise from God means that no matter what circumstances we find ourselves in, He will always be with us. We may not always see His hand at work, but we can trust that He is always there even when things are tough.
If you are feeling alone and forsaken today, remember that God is always with you and He will never leave or forsake you.
