Before you were formed i knew you

who God is

Jeremiah 1:5 says,” before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” This means that even before we were created, God had a plan for our lives.

God is our creator

God is our creator and he knows us intimately. He knows our thoughts, our desires and our plans for the future. He created us for a specific purpose and he has a plan for our lives. We can trust him to lead and guide us through every situation we face.

God is all powerful

“See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god beside me; I kill and I make alive; I wound and I heal; and there is none that can deliver out of my hand.

God is all knowing

Scripture tells us that even before we were formed in our mothers womb, God knew us. This means that He knows every detail about us, including our strengths and weaknesses. He knows what we will do before we do it and He knows how we will respond to every situation we will ever face. Nothing we can do will ever surprise Him or catch Him off guard.

who we are

behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward like no other. Psalm 127:3 NLT before you were even born, I set you apart as a special person. I knew all about you, and I chose you to be mine. You didn’t grow inside my womb by accident or by chance. You are not an afterthought or an accident.

we are created in God’s image

We are created in God’s image, and He knows us intimately. He knows our thoughts, our feelings, and our desires. He knows us better than we know ourselves, and He loves us unconditionally. We can trust Him with our lives, knowing that He will lead us and guide us according to His perfect will.

we are sinners

The Bible tells us that we are sinners. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23). This means that we have all disobeyed God. The penalty for our sin is death. “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23). This is why we need a Savior. Thankfully, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins. “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8).

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9). If you have never confessed your sin and put your trust in Christ alone for salvation, I encourage you to do so today. It is the best decision you will ever make!

we are saved by grace

Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

how we should live

We should live life to the fullest. Carpe diem is a popular saying for a reason. YOLO is another one. You only live once, so you should make the most of it. That doesn’t mean being reckless, but it does mean living with no regrets.

in light of who God is

In light of who God is, we should live in a way that is pleasing to him. We should seek to honor him in all that we do, and to put him first in our lives. We should strive to obey his commands, and to follow his will for our lives. When we live in this way, we can be confident that we are living as he intended for us to live, and that we will ultimately be blessed by him.

in light of who we are

We are who we are for a reason. There is a plan and a purpose for our lives. We are not accidents. We are not here by chance. We are here for a reason.

God knew us before we were born. He knows every hair on our head. He knows our thoughts, our dreams, and our desires. He knows us better than we know ourselves.

He created us to love and be loved. To experience joy and happiness. To have a hope and a future. But sin entered the world and screwed everything up.

Now, we live in a broken world where pain and suffering exist. But God is still good. And he still has a plan for our lives – even in the midst of the brokenness.

So, how should we live in light of who we are? Here are 5 things to remember:

1) We are loved by God unconditionally no matter what we’ve done or what others think of us, God loves us unconditionally . His love is perfect and it never fails (Jeremiah 31:3).
2) We have a purpose each one of us has been created with a unique purpose . There is something that only you can do that nobody else can (Ephesians 2:10).
3) We are not alone even when it feels like nobody else understands us or is there for us, God is always with us . He will never leave or abandon us (Deuteronomy 31:6).
4) We can do anything through Christ because Christ gives us strength , we can do anything . Nothing is impossible for those who believe (Philippians 4:13). 5) Our life isn’t about us it’s not about what we can achieve or accomplish . It’s about living for God and bringing glory to him (1 Corinthians 10:31).

for God’s glory

We are all formed by God for His glory. We should live our lives accordingly, always seeking to please Him and give Him the honor and praise He deserves.
